WHAT IS BAM HOUSE?

BAM House is a Christian faith based nonprofit charitable organization that provides structured transitional housing and supportive services for people in the process of overcoming the problems associated with addictions and reintegration into society from homelessness and incarceration. We are licensed through the Illinois Dept. of Human services.  Our focus is on the spiritual and behavioral development of our residents to help them find purpose for their lives and become more responsible and productive members of society. 

Through our cooperative efforts we provide resources and services to help people in the process of making positive changes in their lives by directly addressing their problems related to addiction, homelessness, mental illness, incarceration, isolation, despair, negative behaviors and spiritual emptiness.

HOMELESS VETERAN SERVICES

BAM house provides transitional housing and services for Veterans.

We provide coordination of care with VA services and a foundation to establish independent living.

We believe that our residents have positive talents to offer to society and it is the vision of BAM House to help them find purpose for their life. 

By providing a therapeutic environment of recovery, supportive services and Christian love our residents can begin to examine character defects that continue to plague them and ultimately lead to a self-destructive lifestyle.

Our goal is to help the residents to take a fearless and honest look at themselves so they can begin to take the needed steps to live a productive life. House meetings are designed for residents to receive personal growth, life and social skills through positive peer interaction, problem solving, and group responsibilities.

It is our mission to help people transitioning through crisis to see the love of God in us as we serve them and help them develop their own personal relationship with God, identify purpose and to become productive members of society.

BAM Maintenance Services

BAM House also has developed BAM MAINTENANCE SERVICES as a means to support our efforts.  BAM Maintenance Services provides building maintenance and repair services for its customers while providing paid on the job training for BAM House clients.
